Important Dates:The official first day of Cookie Season 2022 is Thursday, January 20th.

Remember - planned orders need to be in Smart Cookies by 12 PM this year. There is a handy reminder schedule on page 23 of your manual. *Reminder- Initial order pick-ups start this weekend. Don't forget to pick yours up!

Smart Cookies:Girls will be uploaded to Smart Cookies in December.  Please remind parents that they are sent to the registered address with GSEP. It may go to junk mail if they haven't used Smart Cookies before. If a girl is on your list and didn't get an email, let me know and I can resend it. If you are missing a girl, you need to be sure your roster is correct in GSEP. I cannot add or remove girls on Smart Cookies and it will be an important aspect of our sale this year as we try to maintain social distancing and sales.I have entered all of the TCMs I have into Smart Cookies, but I have a few troops still missing. You need to rectify your status with GSEP in order for your troop to be added to Smart Cookies. If you haven't received your registration email, this is why. Please contact member services ASAP to get things settled before the sale starts.  I have lots of extra paper forms if you need anything to get your girls set up. Remember, they need to have a signed G-1 Permission form on file before they can sell cookies.

"Booths":What I DON'T have a lot of is booth locations, be they drive-through or traditional.  Jen is working overtime and has been in contact with more potential locations than ever, but with current COVID conditions, we are finding fewer and fewer businesses that are willing to host our girls. Please remember, if you are planning to do a booth on any property that is not yours, you still need to gain my permission. Further, if you have families doing independent booths it must be a registered adult with her own registered girls only (unless they are on their own property). Some of the places Jen has approached said they are already planning to have troops and we have no information on this.  I need to know about all booths. There is more liability this year and stricter protocols. Also, with the addition of independent booths, we want to avoid having girls selling in close proximity as much as we can. Please abide by these requests. The cookie sale is meant to be an example of good business practices for our girls, as well as a fundraiser. When we don't practice what we preach, they learn the wrong lessons. Don't be afraid to reach out if you have questions about booth setup.
